Big Brother Big Sister Association
click here http://www.bbbsa.org for any and all information
WCLG and Big Brothers Big Sisters have come together to provide a volunteer big brother or big sister for EVERY child who wants one
* Being a big brother or big sister is about sharing simple, magical moments like going to a ball game, learning about cars, fishing, etc.
* It includes doing everyday activites that are fun to both the volunteer and child
* To build a solid relationship the volunteer "big" and their "little" see each other several times a month
* Our volunteers consistenly say that being a Big is even more enjoyable and fulfilling for them than it is for their little!
The Mission -
To serve children living in single-parent families (and all children with an identified need) by providing one-to-one friendship with caring adult volunteers
The organization -
Big Brothers Big Sisters is commited to providing children with positive caring adult mentors. Through these professionally managed one-to-one relationships, children are able to build lasting friendships that enhance their emotional, social and recreational well-being |
