BACKYARD BRAWL

The West Virginia and Pitt baseball teams will be facing off in the Backyard Brawl tomorrow night at PNC Park, the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. This is the 206th matchup between these longtime rivals, and the third time that they will face off at PNC Park.

The Mountaineers won last year’s Backyard Brawl series, 2-1. The Panthers won the first game at their home field, then WVU won the neutral site game at PNC Park and the last game in Morgantown.

The Mountaineers are 25-11 and receiving votes in some of the national polls heading into this game. They are also undefeated in neutral site games this season. Pitt has a losing record, 16-18, and has lost four out of nine neutral site games.

The game is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m. ET tomorrow night and will be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
