NHL: Buffalo Sabres at Pittsburgh Penguins Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

In the span of seven days, since the last PensBurgh Podcast episode, the Pittsburgh Penguins have been involved with quite a few headlines—almost none of which have to do with the game of hockey itself.

Sidney Crosby made his long-awaited, triumphant return to the Penguins lineup... only to play one game and be forced out due to a positive COVID-19 test.

Head coach Mike Sullivan has also entered the NHL’s Covid protocol.

All the while, the Penguins are still playing games and chugging along with their season.

This week, Robbie and I recap the last few Penguins games and we also address this surge of Covid cases inside the Penguins’ locker room. How can the team sustain continued success with so much lineup shuffling?

We’re also answering your mailbag questions (even if they are a week old)!

Enjoy this week’s episode and, as always, thank you for listening!
