Jason Zucker has not had the season he or Penguins fans were hoping for. Seven goals and 11 points in 27 games played are not what the Penguins are paying him for. However, he was quite noticeable in the team’s last game against the Buffalo Sabres, even scoring a goal on four shots. The forward has traveled a bumpy road this season, but will be an X-factor during this last stretch of games. [Pensburgh]

Cody Ceci arrived in Pittsburgh during the 2020 offseason with many skeptics questioning the Jim Rutherford-led transaction. At the time, it was argued that Ceci was a below-average defenseman whose time with the Toronto Maple Leafs did him no favors in showing that he was a legitimate NHL-caliber player. However, the tone on Ceci has considerably shifted and now, these Penguins are loving what they're seeing from the 27-year-old. [Trib Live]
