When it comes to scoring, a lot of records belong to former Penguins between Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Evgeni Malkin, and Sidney Crosby.
Now, two of those players rank #1 and #2 — but in terms of career earnings.
According to CapFriendly, Crosby is now the highest in NHL history when it comes to career earnings, with a total of $129 million (according to their estimated career earnings tracker).

Jagr ranks 2nd on the list with a career earnings of just over $128 million.
The other Penguins players near the top of the list is Evgeni Malkin, 8th all-time, with just over $109 million earned in his career.
Malkin will presumably move higher up the list, as the active players listed above him are Alex Ovechkin, Shea Weber and Joe Thornton, while Vincent Lecavalier and Chris Pronger join Jagr as players higher than Malkin on the list that are no longer playing in the NHL.
