A Beastie Boys exhibit will open at BEYOND THE STREETS and CONTROL Gallery in Los Angeles on December 10.
The exhibit will feature a collection of personal items, artifacts and ephemera – much of which has never been seen by the public, offering a storied dive into the group’s near forty-year history.
Curated by BEYOND THE STREETS, the EXHIBIT runs through January 23, 2023. Entry will be free to the public.
Exclusive merchandise and printed matter will be available within the gallery gift shop during the exhibit.
The rap rock group from New York City, formed in 1978, was composed of Adam Horovitz, Adam Yauch and Michael Diamond.
The iconic New York City music trio broke up in 2012 following the death of Yauch.
“Not only are we honored to be a part of Beyond The Streets, we’re happy that someone besides us appreciates all the weird shit we’ve collected, and made music on for the past forty years that will be on display,” said Horovitz.
