Beck and French pop rock band Phoenix have teamed up for a new song, called “Odyssey.”
The single was written, produced, and performed by Beck and Phoenix, with vocals from Beck and Phoenix’s Thomas Mars.
“Somewhere / We’ll fall into the ocean / I’ll be there / On an odyssey in the sun.” they sing on the lively, summery track.
Meanwhile, Beck and Phoenix are set to embark on a co-headlining tour, called the “Summer Odyssey” tour.
The 20-date trek will kick off on August 1 at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle and conclude on September 10 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. Japanese Breakfast, Jenny Lewis, and Weyes Blood are set to provide support on select dates.
Phoenix’s last album was 2022’s Alpha Zulu. Back in February, Beck followed his 2019 album Hyperspace with the single “Thinking About You.”
