Brandi Carlile, Yeah Yeah Yeahs Announced As ‘Saturday Night Live’ Musical Guests

Brandi Carlile and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs have been announced as musical guests for upcoming episodes of long-running sketch comedy show “Saturday Night Live.”

Carlile will perform on the December 10 episode, which will be hosted by “Only Murders in the Building” co-stars Steve Martin and Martin Short. It will be Carlile’s second appearance on the “SNL” stage.

“The greatest @nbcsnl of the year! I would fly to New York City just to witness this from the audience. But instead, I get to sing my songs on my favorite show,” Carlile tweeted about her upcoming appearance alongside the two comedy legends.

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs are set to feature on the December 17 episode, marking the band’s first appearance since 2009. The episode will be hosted by Elvis star Austin Butler.

Meanwhile, as previously announced, the December schedule will kick off with SZA as musical guest and Keke Palmer as host on December 3.
