Marilyn Manson, also known as Brian Warner, has settled the federal lawsuit filed by actress Esmé Bianco, who had accused him of sexual assault and sexual battery in 2021, according to several sources.
In a statement provided to Pitchfork, Warner’s attorney, Howard E. King, said “Ms. Bianco has agreed to resolve her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc.”
Bianco’s attorney wrote in an email to Pitchfork, “Ms. Bianco has agreed to resolve her claims against Brian Warner and Marilyn Manson Records, Inc. in order to move on with her life and career.”
Bianco had alleged in 2021 that Manson raped and battered her sexually; she also claimed he had violated California human trafficking laws.
“Mr. Warner used drugs, force, and threats of force to coerce sexual acts from Ms. Bianco on multiple occasions,” her filing said. “Mr. Warner raped Ms. Bianco in or around May 2011.”
The terms of the agreement reached between the two parties now are unknown.
