Sevendust recently unleashed a new single, titled “Everything,” from their upcoming studio album, Truth Killer.
The accompanying video, directed by J.T. Ibanez, features band members Lajon Witherspoon, Clint Lowery, John Connolly, Vince Hornsby, and Morgan Rose.
The lyrics focus on a person struggling with their identity within a relationship.
“So what do you wanna see?/ I’m gonna make you believe / That I can be everything, yeah / I can be anything” sings Witherspoon. “I won’t change a fucking thing / Don’t walk away from me / No, you’re my everything / Yeah, I can be anything.”
The band previously released “Fence” from the forthcoming record Truth Killer, which is due out on July 28th via Napalm Records.
A press release says the new album will offer “the classic Sevendust sound with modern updates, pointing their lyrical lens at the world today and showcases the musical diversity that has won the band a legion of loyal fans.”
